Wireface Chat · for your website

A talking face for your website.

An AI chatbot your visitors can talk to. It answers with a lip-synced face and a real voice, looks at what they show it, knows your business, uses your tools, and hands over to your team when it should. Add it to any site with one line of code.

The demo is Wireface Chat itself, running on its own docs: ask it anything about the product, type or talk. Explore the admin opens a demo workspace with a sample bot to change and talk to, no sign-in needed. Start free signs you in with your wireface.dev account (a code by text) and gives you a workspace of your own.

Try it on this page

Talk to it the way your visitors would

The demo assistant is a Wireface Chat bot that has read the docs. Pick a layout to see how it sits on a website, then ask it something.

Things to try

  • "How do I add you to my website?" It answers from the docs, and says where it found it.
  • "Show me the pricing." It scrolls this page for you: a client tool, a function on the website that the bot can call.
  • Press the microphone and talk. Interrupt it if you like: it stops and listens.
  • Show it something. Attach a picture, or turn on the camera and ask what it sees.

The demo has a daily limit, and what you say goes to Google's Gemini API. Please don't share personal details. More in the privacy notice.

What it does

More than a chat box with a picture

A face that talks

A 3D face from Wireface's face engine, lip-synced to every word, with moods that follow the conversation. Pick one of twelve faces, make one from a photo, or style it as a glowing wireframe.

Real voice conversations

Visitors press the microphone and just talk, and can interrupt it like a person. It runs on Gemini Live or OpenAI Realtime, or gives Claude a voice from ElevenLabs. Typed replies can be read aloud too.

It can see

Visitors can send a photo of a broken part, a rash on a plant or a page they're stuck on. With their permission, it can look through the webcam too, and talk about what it sees.

Knows your business

Point it at your website, sitemap, help pages or files. It answers from them and says where the answer came from, and a report shows the questions it couldn't answer, so you know what to write next.

Gets things done

Connect it to your systems with HTTP tools or MCP servers, or let it act on the page itself: add to a basket, open a product, fill a form. Anything that changes something can ask the visitor first.

Your team, when it matters

It hands over to a person when asked, or when it should. Your team sees every conversation live, takes over, writes notes, and hands back. Leads, ratings and webhooks go where you need them.

Fits your site

A layout for every website

A bubble or a tab on the edge, a panel, a full-height drawer, a face floating over the page, or inline in your own layout. It takes your colours and full-screens on phones.

The drawer layout: a full-height sheet on the right of the florist's site, with the face at the top and a conversation about wedding flowers.
The drawer, opened from a tab on the edge.
The floating layout: the face hovers in the corner of the page, with its reply as a caption and a small message box under it.

On a phone, the chat fills the screen: the face at the top, the conversation below.

The admin panel

Set it up without writing code

Choose a face and a voice, write its personality, give it knowledge and tools, and watch the change in a live preview before you publish. Then follow every conversation as it happens.

The bot editor's Appearance tab: layout and launcher choices on the left, and a live preview of the chat on a sample website on the right.
The bot editor, with a live preview of your draft.
The conversations inbox: a list of chats on the left, a transcript in the middle where a person from the team has taken over, with an internal note, and the visitor's details on the right.
The inbox: a person from the team has taken over.
The Face tab: a large live face on the left with mood buttons, and a gallery of faces, styles and colours on the right.
Faces, moods, styles and colours.
The dashboard: conversations, how many the AI resolved, satisfaction, leads, messages, voice minutes, reply time and estimated cost, with charts.
The dashboard: what your bots did, and what it cost.

A demo workspace of your own, with a sample florist's bot, its conversations and a lead. Change anything and talk to it; nothing to sign in to. It's deleted after a day, unless you sign in to keep it.

Add it to your site

One line of code

Paste it before </body> and the chat appears. Change the face, voice or layout in the admin panel later, and every page updates without touching the code again.

Also as an iframe, an npm package, and for React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, WordPress and Google Tag Manager: the embedding guides.

Getting started

Hosted: free while it's in beta

  1. Sign in with your wireface.dev account: we text a code to your mobile.

Up to 3 bots, 3 people and 10 knowledge sources per workspace. You can delete your workspace and everything in it at any time. Not ready? Explore the admin first, and keep what you made when you sign in.

Questions

Before you start

Which AI does it use?
Yours. Connect a key from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI or Google Gemini for its replies, and ElevenLabs for more voices. Each bot can use a different model and voice.
What does it cost?
The hosted service is free during the beta. Your AI provider charges you for what your bots use, and each bot has daily caps you set, so a busy day can't surprise you.
Does it work with my website?
If you can add a script tag or an iframe, yes: any CMS, shop builder or framework. It lives in its own frame, so your site's styles can't break it, and it works with strict Content-Security-Policies.
Is the camera always on?
No. The camera stays off until a visitor turns it on and agrees to the message you write. Pictures are kept only as long as you choose.
Where are conversations kept?
On the server running it: ours for the hosted service (up to 90 days, or less if you choose), or yours if you self-host. You can export or delete a visitor's data at any time.
How is it different from the embed on my account page?
Your account's embed is a simple talking face with your personality. Wireface Chat is the full chatbot: text and voice, knowledge, tools, your team, transcripts and analytics.
