Per organisation. One licence covers everyone who works for you, including contractors working on your projects.
Does it expire?
No. You pay once and can use it for as long as you like, with every new version included.
Can I pay by invoice or bank transfer?
Yes. Email brad@compsmart.co.uk with your organisation's details.
Can I put Wireface in an app I sell?
Yes, changed or as it is. What you can't do is sell Wireface itself, on its own or rebranded (see the terms below).

Terms

Commercial licence terms

These terms apply when you buy a Wireface commercial licence. "We" are Compsmart. "You" are the person or organisation named when you buy. "The software" is Wireface Desktop and Wireface core, including their source code, documentation and the updates we release.

  1. The licence. Once you have paid, we give you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, copy and change the software for any purpose, including commercial purposes. For you, it replaces the PolyForm Noncommercial terms the software is otherwise available under.
  2. No limits. There is no limit on the number of users, computers, installations, projects, customers or revenue. The licence covers your organisation, its employees, and contractors working for it.
  3. Source code and updates. You get the full source code, including any private repositories, and every version we release afterwards.
  4. Your products. You may build the software, changed or not, into your own products and services, and give it to your customers as part of them.
  5. What you can't do. You may not sell, license or give away the software on its own, or a product whose main purpose is to offer the software itself, such as a rebranded Wireface or a face or avatar engine for other developers. You may not share the source code outside your organisation and its contractors. You may not transfer the licence, except as part of selling your business.
  6. Other projects' parts. Some parts of the software come from other projects and keep their own licences. The NOTICE file in each repository lists them.
  7. Ownership. We keep the copyright in the software. The changes you make are yours.
  8. Refunds. If you change your mind, ask within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full. The licence then ends, and you must delete any source code we gave you.
  9. No warranty. The software comes as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law doesn't allow us to limit.
  10. Ending the licence. If you break these terms and don't put it right within 30 days of us telling you, the licence ends.
  11. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute.
