Wireface Hosted Rigging Terms

Hosted creation requires a Wireface account and SDK key. Noncommercial creation and use of hosted-rigged characters are free. There is no separate per-request usage charge or advertised monthly allowance. Technical concurrency and abuse controls protect the shared service under our acceptable-use policy.

Commercial use of hosted-rigged characters requires an active commercial licence. The standard licence costs £25 per year for a developer or organisation with fewer than 10 employees, covers one named product and includes SDK and integration source with updates during the term. Larger organisations and use in multiple commercial products require Enterprise terms: contact sales@compsmart.co.uk. End users of the licensed product need no separate Wireface account or licence.

Purchases and renewals belong to the signed-in account and named product. Renewal is manual; there is no automatic charge. An early renewal adds one calendar year after the current term, and a lapsed renewal begins on the date payment completes. An upgrade permits that account's existing hosted-rigged characters in the licensed product without re-rigging. Ongoing commercial use requires a current term even for characters created earlier. Installed characters continue to work when a term expires; they never contact a licence server or stop animating.

The licence includes the SDK and integration source, with updates during the paid term. The hosted AI detection service's code is proprietary and excluded. Local character creation, fixed-mesh mapping and all SDK animation remain free for commercial use under the SDK Licence, independently of any hosted licence; characters created on your own device are not hosted-rigged characters.

You retain your content rights and must have permission for uploaded images and their intended use. Inputs may be processed by Google Gemini as explained in the privacy notice. We discard uploaded images after processing, retain downloadable results for 24 hours and request metadata for 90 days. Save completed characters yourself. The service is provided without a service-level guarantee; support can help with rejected images and repeated failures. Never place a permanent SDK key in browser code.

Retain required Wireface and third-party notices in distributed characters and components. Do not resell or sublicense the hosted service, paid source or Wireface SDK as a standalone developer offering without written agreement. Your product and content may have their own licences.

Refunds or payment reversals end the corresponding commercial entitlement. Contact sales@compsmart.co.uk about billing problems or a refund. Nothing limits mandatory consumer rights. Material breach may result in suspension, with a reason and a route to support; remediable licence breaches may be cured within 30 days of written notice. Abuse may be stopped immediately to protect the service.

Historical purchases and their original source-access, update and commercial rights are preserved. No new term applies retroactively to those rights. Desktop and Chat have separate licences. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is without warranties or liability for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing excludes fraud, death or personal injury from negligence or other non-excludable liability. England and Wales law applies subject to mandatory applicable rights. Contact sales@compsmart.co.uk.
